The designer will be responsible for creating landscape designs and project estimates based on client/builder requests brought in by our Account Managers.

Bachelor's degree in Horticulture Landscape Design Expert in a CAD based drawing program, such as Land F/X or Pro Landscape Design Programs Southwest plant identification knowledge Organizational skills for managing project workload Attention to detail and ability to multi-task Excellent communication skills Please provide resume, samples of work.

Position Overview:
The CAD Designer obtains and organizes information to generate detailed drawings ranging from explanatory 2D renderings to job submittals, shop drawings, and 3D modeling using computer assisted design and drafting software and equipment.
Required Duties and Responsibilities Design:
Create and revise production drawings Analyze space and site requirements Make final detailed sketches of proposed drawings while regarding materials to be used, checking dimension of parts, relation of one part to another, and relation of parts to whole structure or project Draft detailed multi-view drawings of products Draw finished designs and sketches Evaluate feasibility of design ideas based on factors such as appearance, safety, functionality, sustainability, budget, production resources, costs, methods, and market characteristics Technical and Computer:
Accurately compute angles, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances, and leverages Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, and building materials to complete drawings Generate detailed drawings using Auto CAD computer software Process Management:
Organize, plan, and prioritize workload Gather information to initiate and complete designs Use relevant information and judgment to determine whether designs and processes comply with laws, regulations, and/or standards Communicate with installation, engineering, and sales departments, or with builders to establish and evaluate design concepts for standard and custom manufactured products Assist in entering, recording, storing, and maintaining information in written and/or electronic form Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements Core Competencies:

1-3 years of design experience Strong personal computer and design software skills including:
Solidworks, AutoCAD, Land F/X, Pro Landscape Design Software.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models Experience working with sub-contractors throughout the installation and design process Strong technical skills and abilities Strong analytical and complex problem solving skills Strong attention to detail with the ability to be exact and accurate Excellent planning and organizational skills Strong interpersonal as well as written and verbal communication skills to confidently work with support personnel, management, and high-end clientele in the landscape architectural industry Position Review Process The expectations and success of the role will be reviewed at a 30 day, a 60 day and a 90 day mark.
